Sustainable Utility Design is the Foundation of a Master Facilities Plan.

BY: Mark Rocha, Ph.D, M.Engr.

Here is a project my firm is doing for Harvard.  It's an excellent example of first things first when it comes to a college's master facilities plan. Before programming the campus map for vertical construction, start by designing sustainable infrastructure that reduces long-term costs and your college's energy footprint. The development of Harvard University’s Allston campus is a model of environmental stewardship.  CDM's green utility delivery system will provide all thermal, electrical and wet utilities—serving as a model of sustainable design for other institutions and communities. Congratulations to my colleagues on the Harvard project.
